Infamous what happens if you save the doctors

Please Log In to post. They put you in the old spiderman situation. Save your girlfriend, or save innocents. Except your not as super amazing as spiderman is sorry Cole , so you simply cannot save both. I went ahead and saved the doctors, and let trish die, since she would probably bitch at you if you saved her anyway and I'm playing as the goodest of the good guys SuckerPunch set this up amazingly, and treated Trish's death respectfully so you don't feel too bad about it..

I'm kinda hoping they do this more throughout the later half of the game, it's great so far. TwoOneFive said: yeah dude, trish was a total bitch. Giantsquirrel said: This really warranted a thread? I'm just saying that there should be more than one significant choice in a game like this. Like those old "choose your own adventure" books that had half a dozen possible outcomes. Only, it would be better 'cuz video games tend to be more interactive than books and you get to feel like you're actually affecting the story even though it's basically a dressed up version of the whole "If you think Hans should stab the ice queen, turn to page If you think he should bang her six ways from Sunday, turn to page " kind of thing.

I was trying to say that no game will EVER meet your expectations for choices without making someone else stressy over the fact that they, for example, just wanted to shoot the main antagonist at their first chance. Many games and movies actually show many parts where the bad guy could've been shot there and then right at the beginning and then that would all be over and done with. It's just that that would piss off other people. Just because there's an opening for an extra choice doesn't mean it should be a viable choice.

While I think the idea of a game where you can make any choice at any time is awesome, I also understand that it's unrealistic. I'm just saying that in these games that make a big deal about choices, there should be more than one.

Hence the comment I made about a game with half a dozen or so possible outcomes, rather than thousands of possibilities like in real life. User Info: lunarknight Or so we've been told. Remember when Fable was such a big deal and it let you make these huge choices that could affect things later and then it turned out just like all the other games that give you almost no real choices.

Still, I do have hope that Heavy Rain will pull it off better than the others. More topics from this board Was this really a good game? Good or Evil? I absolutely loved the part in Spiderman where it shows him in slow motion running away from the gondola full of kids to rescue Mary Jane. I mean, it's even cooler that he saved them all, but I loved the imagery of him running away from the kids.

So, even though I didn't care much for Trish's character, I didn't even hesitate to rush to her rescue instead of the doctors. Evil karma : In Trish's final moments, she says she is ashamed of what he had become, finally dying despising Cole. Infamous Wiki Explore.
