Got enough on my hands at the moment without maintaining this pack and handling requests. Posted by falcongrey at Voted 8. Other than that, this is one awesome piece of work. I'm not really great at editing but might look into the pixie thing. Like all other things, they can still 'try' to do it but that isn't one of the natural abilities. My wizards miss their trap foiling, lock picking, annoy the monster friends! Posted by tsneis75 at Voted 9.

I tested it and my Pixie disabled traps just fine. In response to your question zerit, i have no idea. If i gave the Pixie disable device skill then it should be able to do it If this is the problem then you can fix the problem yourself by opening the toolset and editing the pixie familar templates all 15 of them.

Posted by zerit at My pixie picks locks just fine, but he won't disable traps. That option simply doesn't appear. Is this normal? I have patch 1. It only replaces the summons if you keep the optional component which causes it to make all summon spells summon panthers. It was my fault for not putting the optional components outside the main install. I've recently got back into NWN2, so i may, just may come back to this pack and get it updated and make further refinements Posted by pittlers at Voted 8.

Could you fix it? Posted by esengeas at Voted 8. Not found the willpower to return to creating more content yet. The one thing i keep nagging myself to actually do is update the pack for Kaedrin's latest release.

It's really trivial when you know how and a lot of people do , but not every person knows how to do it Mimics perhaps can work as familiars, i'll keep it in mind. As cosmetic familiars perhaps work well, but not sure what could be done with them in the more combat oriented engine without a lot of scripting which i am trying to avoid like the plague There are several more familiar types on the to-do list.

Not sure it is really necessary as there may be no real TLK changes and everything else remains the same. However, both IE and Firefox are for some reason failing to upload, so will try again later in the week. Currrent plans at the moment are not set. Some more familiars i will do in the not too distant future but for the moment i'm not in any rush. There are a number of other things i want to take a look at as well but again, in no rush.

Repeat as needed to add to any of your existing campaigns. This package is intended to add some variety and utility to the NWN2 wizard and sorcerer's familiar list. The Pseudodragon and the Sylph are statistically comparable to the original familiars. A small boon is granted when summoned by their owner, Both the Sylph and the Pseudodragon are quite poor in combat ability, much like the regular creatures.

The Sword and the Skeleton conversely can become capable combatants a damage dealer and tank respectively. The catch is a player will be required to raise them higher than level 21 - which means surrendering multi-class perks. The level Intelligent Sword and Skeleton Minion are reasonably strong units when fully raised and buffed. A player can consider them on par with some of the better non-epic summons.

Kirias Avlanti - Cleric of Correlon. Unread post by Blackman D » Sat May 06, am for a single person? Unread post by K'yon Oblodra » Sat May 06, am Keep in mind that while I'm pnp the DM just has to have that familiar on paper or in the top of his head while here it needs to be programed.

Btw what's up with that familiar spell of the first level It doesn't seem to do anything. K'yon Oblodra. Necromancer of the school of Necromancy. Unread post by Valefort » Sat May 06, pm Pending possible changes Each familiar needs 15 blueprints though so don't expect lots of those or do the blueprints yourself, it's nothing hard just extremely tedious. Also as K'yon indicates the creature models have to exist in NWN2. Mealir Ostirel - Incorrigible swashbuckler. It doesn't do jack.

Not that I've seen. My Druid was stuck with a fairly useless animal companion - with a bad name - for his entire career.

It makes me sad. Cheesegear , Jan 2, The Magister , Jan 4, I liked the panther from NWN 1. It was actually a good help in combat, tanking for my arcane archer. Blue , Jan 6, That's disappointing to hear.
